Botswana is a landlocked country in southern Africa. It has a population of 2.3 million and it is made up of a diversity of eco-systems and landscapes, from the Kalahari desert to the Okavango Delta wet and dry.

There are several national parks and game reserves for your breathtaking experience in Africa. Among the parks, there is Chobe National Park which lies on the northern part of Botswana. It is well known for its high elephant population, in fact Botswana has the largest number of elephants on earth. Big cats and other mammals are also in abundant in this area. The Chobe riverfront is full of life, elephants, hippos, buffaloes, giraffes, crocodiles, thousands of birds,.... and Savuti is a territory for lions, leopards and cheetahs where they play, roam, stalk and hunt.

Moremi Game Reserve lies on the north west, is one of Africa's most beautiful conservation areas and the chance of seeing all the big five are high as it's the only place where you can also find rhinos. A place where you can also see the endangered wild dogs in big packs. The Okavango Delta makes part of the reserve, it is a unique place on earth, a place where a river flows and dies into the desert. This wetland is home to a great variety of animal species and birds.

The Makgadikgadi and Nxai parks are well known for the zebras migration and beautiful salt pans and landscapes. The long black manned lions are found in the Central Kalahari. Cheetahs, hyenas and other mammals are common in this area. The Kgalagadi Transfrontier park is on the south western part of Botswana bordering South Africa, and is the largest park in the country. There is also great game viewing in all this area.
