Dates and detailed itinerary

New dates soon for 2023

Our safari starts in Maun and ends in Kasane, on the Chobe river. In Kasane there's a possible extension staying more nights in a lodge to round off this fantastic trip with a boat cruise in the river and a game drive in Chobe National Park.

Arrival at Maun, our photo safari begins

You will be welcomed at the airport by our staff and transfer to your lodge in Maun. The afternoon is free with an optional scenic flight over the Okavago Delta by helicopter or small plane. We will meet with William in the lodge for dinner.

Mobile camp Moremi

We will leave early en route to our camp in Moremi Game Reserve, a protected section of the Okavango Delta, a mosaic of wetlands and woodlands, a vast area very rich in wildlife and the only place we would be able to find the big 5. Moremi is home to great herds of elephant and buffalo as well as big cats, wild dogs, hippos, giraffes, crocodiles, .... Our safari experience starts. In all the parks we'll usually do 2 game drives every day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, our guides will decide on the best options every day depending on sightings, light, etc. William will be available to help us improving our photo skills. In the camp we'll have our shower ready when required and meals will be served by the camp's staff. And at night, we will share our experiences by the fire under the African starry sky.

Mobile camp Khwai Private Reserve

We leave Moremi to our next camp in Khwai. A private concession bordering the Moremi Game Reserve, with different habitats, including riverine woodlands, floodplains, open savannah, mopane woodland, rivers and lagoons. This range of habitats results in an extraordinary range of wildlife. In Khwai will have the chance to do a boat tour in the Okavango and a night game drive in the concession. In the camp at lunch or before dinner we can relax and enjoy observing the animals that get close. And at night more stories by the fire after a delicious dinner.

Mobile camp Savuti

Early breakfast and depart for Savuti. We will have a game drive in Khwai concession before leaving and we'll have time to start exploring the Savuti Marsh before heading to our camp. Savuti is fascinating. Famous for its ever-battling predators and hyennas, especially its resident lion population as shown in the National Geographic documentary "Savage Kingdom". Our guides will track footprints to find the lion prides, cheetahs, leopards and all the different animals abundant in the area. We will enjoy the beauty of Savuti at sunset, sundowners included!

Kasane

After our last night in Savuti we leave our camp to go to Kasane, on the Chobe river. Our safari ends here with the transfer to the airport.

Extension: 2 extra nights in Kasane, entrance to Chobe National Park and boat cruise on Chobe river.
