BOTSWANA

Entry requirements for international travellers

When arriving in Botswana, all tourists must present a Covid-19 test with a negative result with a maximum of 72 hours upon arrival at the airport. You will be asked to fill in a declaration form. The tour operator in Botswana will provide each passenger, prior to departure, information on the accommodation places throughout the trip in case it is requested on arrival at the airport.
To leave Botswana it is also necessary to present a negative Covid test. On our last days in Kasane we will take the test and we will have the results the next day so that we can take our return flights.

Covid protocol

Botswana is a safe destination. The number of cases has remained at very low levels and the population strictly follows preventative measures (mask in public establishments, temperature control at the entrance, sanitizing in all public spaces).
The safari takes place in natural open spaces. Groups usually consist of 6 travelers (in any case maximum 12), plus a staff of about 5 people. All travelers and accompanying staff will have a negative PCR test.
The lodges in Botswana have open spaces to the surrounding nature, privacy is an important point and all preventative measures are followed.
4x4 cars have 9 passenger seats of which a maximum of 6 will be used that will ensure the distance between the passengers while also ensuring that everyone has an outside seat.

Booking flexibility

It's possible to make a reservation without any payment required up to 6 weeks before the start of the safari. Special cancellation and postponement conditions apply (see here the payment and cancellation policy)

Victoria Falls

Due to the changing conditions of entry and exit in Zimbabwe, it will be necessary to check the requirements for the determined dates.

Flights

The most common routes are via Johannesburg or Gaborone. From these airports there are flights to Kasane and Maun. Contact us via email if you want more information about flights.
